Hi there, first thanks a lot for creating this amazing course. I wish I found your courses earlier. I was scared of coding until I heard of PlayMaker. Then I watched a few really terrible PlayMaker tutorials, so I decided to learn some coding lol. Its still very basic but I'll try to manage :)
Anyways I'm working on a prototype game now and I watched your Behavior Designer AI videos. I just have a couple of questions:
1) (a) Basically we need something (Script or PlayMaker FSM) to move the enemy and (b) control it's health/damage right?
For enemy movement, how is the Run animation playing on the Seek task? Is it happening because of the Mover FSM?
For Health/Damage:
We don't do health/damage for the partyMonster until video #19 I believe.
I wasn't really able to keep up with you on that because I'm terrible in PlayMaker.
So I was wondering, can I have a separate script that deals with hurting the enemy and killing it while doing everything else in Behavior Designer?? Or if I'm going to do that I'm going I must communicate with Behavior Desinger??
2) After making the NPC chase and attack on sight Video #8, we change the order of execution of the tree. Can I keep the tree that we already had built?? (I'm only going to 1 task, either Within Sight or Can See). Would it work if I try to add a Melee & Ranged attacks to it too?
