IK Control video 24

using playmaker 1.8.3.f4, i can't seem to get the right hand of the player to pay any attention to the IK Control child component as set up in the video... i move IK control around and nothing happens...

Hey Heath- other people have had some issues with the IK goal setup in the past few months- if you check out the comments/replies on the vid it might be of some help https://thestrangeschool.vhx.tv/videos/making24#comment-thread-68866

Running through the steps in this video might also be helpful

I've seen a few threads pop up on the Playmaker forums in regard to this so it might be an issue with the newer versions of Playmaker- I'll do some tests and see what I can find- saw yer thread on the Playmaker forums as well- several of the Playmaker dev's are on there so hopefully they will be able to provide some help as well-

awesome! thank you for the help, I really appreciate it... so for anyone else having this problem... here is what I did... it was mention of that ik proxy in the comments of the video and seeing it in the video above that got it for me...

In the ecosystem, search for animator proxy... it's a package... download it and import

once that's done, when I put a ik set goal on the state, it says the proxy has to be there, which it never mentioned until i imported the proxy package... now the proxy script is on the items and it works... thanks very much... (make sure you check every frame... at first I didn't and it worked for just a frame and I was like "well that's closer!"... ticked every frame and now I'm golden)
